Robot RS Grinder submersible pumps are distributed by
Prestige Pumps Ltd and their knowledgeable staff.
Designed specifically for handling sewage and other waste
water applications where the quantity of water does not allow for
the use of large solids handling pipe work. Large solids
are cut into smaller pieces that can be handled through pipes as
small as 32mm.
High heads can be achieved with the grinder range of
pumps.
The main parts of the cutting elements are located inside
the cutting ring and are therefore kept away from any larger
solids that cannot be cut, which helps prolong cutting element
life.
Both the parts of the cutting element Rotating and
stationary are manufactured from a special hardened stainless
steel alloy which minimises corrosion and ensures a longer
life.

Single phase motors: Available for the smaller
models
Flame proof motors: certified to European standards WN
50014/18/19 (BS 5501), class EEx de IIB T3 or T4, and to American
FMRC standard, class 1, division 1, groups C&DT4.
Seal leakage monitor: detects water ingress in both motor-
and oil housing.
Thermostats: standard for all flameproof pumps and optional
for all other pumps.
