Robot RW Vortex submersible pumps are distributed by
Prestige Pumps Ltd and their knowledgeable staff.
The recessed vortex impeller creates a strong vortex in the
pump casing, therefore reducing the risk of blockage due to the
pumping of highly fibrous materials.
Due to the strong vortex created by the pump, large and
heavy solids are also conveyed, which keeps the sump clear of
solids and sludge and therefore reduces annual costs of cleaning
the sump.
The pumps are also do not have increased wear rates due to
the action of the vortex impeller.
Twin mechanical seals are fitted to the pump, SIC/CAR on
the pump side, CAR/CER on the motor side.
The pumps can be supplied with flameproof
motors: certified
to European standards EN 50014/18/19 (BS 5501), class EEx de IIB
T3 or T4, and to American FMRC standard, class I, division I,
groups C&D T4.r
